BI and Data Engineer

🚨 BI & Data Engineer – Fareham, Hampshire 🏠 Hybrid – 2 days home working per week

We’re working with an established organisation based in Whiteley who are looking for a BI & Data Engineer to join their internal IT team.

This is a hands-on role sitting between data, technology and business operations, with the opportunity to improve reporting, automate processes and build reliable data solutions.

🔹 The Role:

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
• Develop SQL / T-SQL solutions
• Work with Azure SQL, Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
• Improve data quality, governance and reporting
• Support EDI, integrations and automation
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support data warehouse, database and reporting environments

🔹 What We're Looking For:

• Strong SQL / T-SQL
• Proven Power BI development experience
• Experience with ETL/ELT or data pipelines
• Strong understanding of data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills

⭐ Desirable: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Logic Apps, Dynamics 365 F&O, EDI, Azure DevOps, Power Automate/Power Apps and data governance.
