Wolviston Management Services are supporting a growing and innovative organisation in the recruitment of a BIM Technician (remote) to join their digital engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality BIM models and digital information in line with industry-leading standards.
 
The Role As a BIM Technician, you will support the development, coordination and delivery of 3D models across a range of construction and engineering projects.
Working closely with the BIM Manager and wider project teams, you'll ensure models are accurate, coordinated and compliant with ISO 19650 standards and project BIM Execution Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and maintain 3D BIM models in line with project and company standards
  • Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models, identifying and resolving clashes
  • Generate 2D drawings, schedules and model outputs for project delivery
  • Support model integration with asset data (including COBie where required)
  • Maintain model version control and ensure accurate data management 
  • Participate in coordination meetings and support clash detection reporting
  • Assist project teams in applying BIM standards and best practices 
  • Carry out quality checks and support compliance with ISO 19650 processes
About You We're looking for a detail-oriented BIM professional with strong technical capability and a collaborative approach.
Essential requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (key competency)
  • Experience working with BIM processes aligned to ISO 19650 
  • Experience in model coordination and clash detection
  • Experience modelling from point cloud captures
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary design (Architecture, MEP, Structural)
Desirable:
  • Experience with Navisworks, Civil 3D or ArchiCAD
  • Knowledge of COBie and asset information requirements
