Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Package

About the Opportunity


Green Scout is proud to be partnering with an established and growing Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist to recruit an experienced BMS Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected engineering business delivering critical BMS projects and maintenance services across prestigious commercial buildings in Central London and Canary Wharf.


The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, fault-finding, commissioning, and optimising Schneider Electric BMS systems across a portfolio of high-profile sites.


The Role


As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, support, maintenance and optimisation of Schneider BMS installations, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance of Schneider BMS systems
  • Diagnosing and rectifying BMS faults and system issues
  • Modifying and optimising software and control strategies
  • Commissioning BMS upgrades and small works projects
  • Supporting energy efficiency and system performance improvements
  • Producing site reports and technical documentation
  • Providing exceptional client-facing support and technical expertise
  • Working closely with project teams, facilities managers and end users
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required


Requirements


To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:


  • Strong hands-on experience with Schneider Electric BMS systems
  • Proven background as a BMS Service, Maintenance or Commissioning Engineer
  • Experience carrying out fault diagnosis and software modifications
  • Good understanding of HVAC plant and building services controls
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK


Desirable

  • Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) experience
  • Schneider Continuum or SmartStruxure knowledge
  • Commissioning experience
  • Electrical qualifications or relevant engineering certifications
  • Knowledge of Trend, Tridium or other BMS platforms
