Location: Thurleigh
Salary: £36,166 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (07:30–16:00 / 09:30–17:00)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Bodyshop Paint Supervisor to join a busy, high-volume automotive operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside technicians on the workshop floor, ensuring high-quality standards, efficient workflow, and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and support a team of paint technicians to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality repairs.
- Coordinate daily workloads and monitor progress to ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.
- Provide hands-on technical support, coaching and mentoring to develop team capability.
- Promote high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and operational excellence.
- Manage day-to-day people responsibilities including team briefings, attendance, holiday planning and performance management.
- Resolve workshop issues quickly to minimise downtime and maintain workflow.
About You
We're looking for someone who can combine strong technical expertise with confident leadership. You'll ideally have:
- A minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician.
- At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team leader position within a bodyshop or similar technical environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
