Branch Manager Pay, Hours and Benefits
Competitive salary plus a quarterly bonus
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Occasional overtime, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, Life insurance cover, Profit Related Pay, Employee Assistance Programme

Branch Manager Role Overview
- This is an excellent opportunity, leading and mentoring a small team of experienced and dedicated colleagues, you will coordinate the daily smooth running of the branch and drive it to even greater success, whilst ensuring the branch is compliant with policies and procedures.
- You will be fully accountable for the day-to-day operational and commercial performance of the branch. This role owns revenue delivery, P&L performance, workshop utilisation, diary control, and dealer development, ensuring the branch operates efficiently, profitably, and with a strong customer focus.
- Working closely with the Service & Installation Coordinator and Workshop Manager, you will take full control of resources, drive sales through retail channels, strengthen dealer relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for key customers.
- This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring commercial awareness, operational discipline, and proactive engagement with internal teams and external partners.
Branch Manager Candidate Requirements
- An engaging people leader with strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Enjoy building relationships, developing teams and taking ownership of business performance whilst always looking for opportunities to improve and grow.
- Experience managing or supervising a small operational team.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and business performance.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience improving operational efficiency and driving business performance.
- Confidence building relationships with customers, dealerships and external partners.
- A proactive approach to business development and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence (maximum six penalty points).
Branch Manager Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Chesterfield branch, ensuring excellent service, efficiency and operational performance.
- Deliver branch revenue, profitability and performance targets through effective leadership and commercial decision-making.
- Maximise workshop utilisation, resource planning and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and partners throughout your region.
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to support continued branch growth.
- Lead, coach and develop your team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Monitor branch performance, budgets and forecasts, taking action to improve results where required.
- Ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from initial enquiry through to completed vehicle adaptation.
