Building Services Manager

Building Services Manager (Electrical) | Peterborough | £50,000–£55,000 + Package

Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Building Services Manager (Electrical) to join their team in Peterborough, leading electrical projects from estimating and tendering through to completion.

It's a varied role combining project management, estimating, commercial awareness and team leadership across commercial, retail and industrial projects from £10k to £1M. A genuine blend of technical, commercial and people management for someone who wants breadth rather than a narrow lane.

The role:

• Leading electrical projects from tender through to final account
• Preparing estimates, tenders, quotations and pricing
• Monitoring costs, profitability, valuations and variations
• Managing and coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
• Attending client, design and site meetings
• Overseeing H&S and CDM compliance
• Leading, mentoring and developing the team

What we're looking for:

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• 18th Edition and 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
• Proven electrical project management experience across commercial and industrial
• Strong estimating and tendering background
• SMSTS and ECS Card
• Full UK driving licence required
• Enhanced DBS required

The package:

• £50,000–£55,000
• Company vehicle or fuel allowance
• Profit share scheme

• 21 days holiday, increasing with service
