The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering consultancy delivering technically challenging projects across a range of sectors. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of Mechanical Building Services solutions while contributing to the development of junior team members.

Mechanical Building Services Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, MEP Engineer, Public Health Engineer, Mechanical Project Engineer, Building Services Design Engineer, Mechanical Services Engineer.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Develop and deliver mechanical building services designs in line with project requirements, industry standards and regulatory obligations.
- Produce high-quality technical specifications, calculations and detailed engineering documentation.
- Support multidisciplinary project teams to successfully deliver complex engineering projects.
- Provide guidance and development support to early-career engineers and technical staff.
- Promote best practice, quality assurance and compliance throughout project delivery activities.
- Experience designing Mechanical Building Services systems, including HVAC and public health services.
- Membership of CIBSE and progressing towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Strong technical design, specification writing and engineering detailing capability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Experience using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, IES Thermal Modelling or similar design tools would be advantageous.
