Built Environment Tutor – Remote

Are you an experienced Built Environment, Construction or Civil Engineering professional interested in delivering your knowledge to the next generation?

We are working with an established training provider looking to strengthen their team with a Built Environment / Civil Engineering Tutor.

This is a fully remote position, delivering engaging teaching and support to apprentices working towards Construction and Civil Engineering qualifications at Levels 3 and 4.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging online teaching to apprenticeship learners
• Supporting learners throughout their programme and technical qualifications
• Providing 1:1 support, feedback and guidance
• Planning, assessing and monitoring learner progress
• Working alongside an established curriculum and learner support team

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from people with experience across areas such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Site Supervision, Design or the wider Built Environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching or training within FE, apprenticeships or work-based learning
• Relevant Construction, Built Environment or Civil Engineering knowledge
• Confidence delivering learning remotely

You don’t necessarily need to have covered every area of the Built Environment – if you have strong industry knowledge alongside teaching or training experience, we would still be interested in speaking with you.
