Business Account Manager

Location: West Sussex (Office-Based)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

I am recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing food manufacturing business for a Business Account Manager to manage and develop key regional and national accounts across a wholesale and foodservice customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and drive product listings.
  • Deliver annual sales and gross profit targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure new customer wins.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the business.

About You

  • Previous account management or business development experience within foodservice, food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and win new business.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
