Business Development Executive - Petersfield, Hampshire (Hybrid) - £45,000 OTE

We're recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join a leading provider of training, qualifications and professional development services. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with organisations across the UK, helping them improve compliance, develop their payroll teams and access industry-leading training solutions.
Based in Petersfield, Hampshire, you'll enjoy a flexible working pattern with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely, alongside excellent earning potential and long-term career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Executive, in Petersfield, Hampshire, you'll be responsible for growing new and existing client relationships across a range of payroll training and development solutions.
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities
- Building relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Conducting discovery calls and needs assessments
- Managing the full sales process from lead generation through to close
- Delivering online demonstrations and presentations
- Preparing tailored proposals and quotations
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Managing client accounts and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records
- Producing pipeline reports and sales forecasts
- Collaborating with marketing and operational teams to support growth initiatives
What we're looking for:
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience in business development, telesales, account management or a similar sales role
- Experience selling services or solutions in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A consultative and customer-focused sales approach
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- The ability to explain complex information in a simple and engaging way
- A proactive and target-driven attitude
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
Experience within payroll, HR, finance, training or professional services would be advantageous, but is not essential.
