Our client is an ambitious, privately owned business that has been delivering high-quality outsourced support services across the UK since 2018. Through continued growth and an excellent reputation for service delivery, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of their expansion.
This is a genuine new business role where you'll have the autonomy to develop your own pipeline, win high-value contracts and play a key part in the company's long-term success.
The Role
You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial opportunities across a national territory, building relationships with key decision-makers and managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract award.
The business offers a broad portfolio of services including security, facilities management, commercial cleaning, fire safety and specialist support services, allowing you to develop multiple revenue streams with your clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
- Develop relationships with commercial organisations, property companies, construction firms, logistics businesses, healthcare providers, education and public sector organisations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract award.
- Prepare proposals, tenders and commercial quotations.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth mobilisation of new contracts.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently exceed agreed revenue targets.
About You
You'll be a proven new business winner who enjoys opening doors, developing relationships and closing significant contract opportunities.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have sold service-based solutions within sectors such as:
- Security Services
- Facilities Management
- Commercial Cleaning
- Fire Safety
- Remote CCTV Solutions
- Integrated Support Services
- A demonstrable track record of winning new business.
- Experience managing a consultative sales process.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- The confidence to engage with senior decision-makers.
- A full UK driving licence.
