We are working with an established and highly regarded construction contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to strengthen their presence across the Midlands and North of England. The business has an excellent reputation for delivering construction projects across a range of sectors, including new build, refurbishment, recladding and building safety. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded individual who understands the construction market, enjoys building relationships and has a proven track record of identifying and securing new work.

Working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building relationships with key clients and industry professionals.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Identifying opportunities through public sector frameworks, negotiated contracts and competitive tenders.
- Building relationships with consultants, architects, project managers and other key decision-makers.
- Working closely with estimating and operational teams to support tender submissions and secure new contracts.
- Monitoring market activity and identifying projects at an early stage.
Business Development Manager Experience:
We are keen to speak with experienced Business Development Managers who have a strong background in construction, ideally within a main contracting environment.
You will have a good understanding of construction procurement, public sector frameworks and the importance of developing client relationships ahead of tender opportunities.
An established network of contacts across the Midlands, Yorkshire or North West would be advantageous, along with experience in new build, refurbishment or building safety projects.
You will be commercially astute, self-motivated and confident representing the business at all levels.
