Business Development Manager

Constructive Moves are looking to source a Business Development Manager for a construction company based in Essex. A multi-disciplinary contractor that focuses on building long term client relationships and continuing business growth year on year.

The company specialises in refurbishment and new build projects with values up to £15m under Traditional and Design & Build contracts across London and the Southeast region.

As Business Development Manager you will be part of the pre-construction team and will be targeted to proactively develop and manage existing relationships with customers, consultants, and other project stakeholders to promote the company's reputation and brand. You will be required to have a good understanding of the legal framework for procurement of construction projects and the various procurement routes

Duties will include the following:

• Obtaining market intelligence and track future pricing opportunities to secure a place on tender lists, prioritising schemes which closely fit the Company's target market.
• Gather intelligence on current pricing opportunities and feedback to Directors and work winning team members.
• Gather information from questionnaire and tender submission performance to inform improvement of future submissions.
• Liaise with the Managing Director and Pre-Construction Director to agree which opportunities are to be pursued/declined.
• Assist with managing secured frameworks to ensure opportunities frameworks are maximised.
• Lead the delivery of the Company's programme of marketing events.
• Support the Company's commitment to sustainability.

This is a permanent opportunity and will be based out their offices in Essex but travel will be required due to the nature of the role.

Salaries are dependent on level of experience and can be discussed at application stage.
