Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of driving sustainable revenue growth across a range of income-generating activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing and maximising existing commercial income streams
  • Identifying, developing and implementing new business opportunities
  • Leading business development and marketing strategies
  • Supporting fundraising initiatives, bids and partnership development
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, customers and strategic partners
  • Overseeing digital marketing activity, including website performance and lead generation
  • Managing and developing the Marketing & Events Officer
  • Contributing to organisational strategy as a member of the management team

Profile

We're keen to hear from ambitious business development professionals who can demonstrate:

  • A strong track record of delivering commercial growth and income generation
  • Success in identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Experience developing and delivering successful bids, tenders or funding applications
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Experience creating and executing marketing strategies
  • Previous people management experience
  • Commercial awareness combined with creativity and entrepreneurial thinking
  • The ability to balance strategic leadership with operational delivery
  • Experience within the education, charity, third sector or mission-led sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Job Offer

  • Salary of £42,700 - £45,700
  • 45 days annual leave including public holidays
