Business Development Manager

We are retained exclusively by our client to appoint a talented Business Development Manager for this internationally owned, well established, entrepreneurial organisation which supplies its speciality products and services into a variety of industries including aerospace and automotive.

The role will be based at their Blackburn site when not travelling to visit UK & Ireland customers.

Taking responsibility for new business development and customer account management, this will be an all-encompassing commercial remit to drive sales whilst meeting customer needs and overseeing on time delivery of quality end products whilst often working on long lead time projects.  

This therefore requires the skills of a “can do” individual who can focus on driving profitable new business sales, successful customer account management, excellent customer engagement, detailed contract / project management and with the ability to build strong collegiate and influencing relationships with all operational areas of the business.

The successful candidate will need to possess proven experience in developing and improving sales activity and will have ideally gained experience in developing customer relationships within the aerospace or automotive OEMs.
