Are you an experienced Sales Representative with a proven background in generating new business and developing strong customer relationships?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join an established manufacturing business based in the West Midlands. You will play a key role in identifying new sales opportunities, developing existing customer relationships and driving the growth of added-value products and services.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven experience working in a sales or customer account management role
- Experience identifying and developing new sales opportunities
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to open, negotiate and close sales
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Full and valid driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience within a manufacturing, technical or product-led sales environment
- Experience selling added-value products or services
- Experience using customer databases or CRM systems
- Experience preparing sales proposals, presentations and quotations
Roles & Responsibilities
- Generate, qualify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, referrals and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing a high level of customer service.
- Identify customer needs and present suitable products and services, including preparing proposals, quotations and presentations.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to negotiation and completion.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales and quotation records, including monitoring pipeline activity and reporting performance against agreed KPIs.
- Research market trends, competitor activity and product developments to identify new opportunities.
- Support promotional activities, sales events, direct marketing and product training where required.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the business by promoting added-value products and services across the company.

- Have excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Be confident developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
