Are you an experienced Sales Representative with a proven background in generating new business and developing strong customer relationships?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join an established manufacturing business based in the West Midlands. You will play a key role in identifying new sales opportunities, developing existing customer relationships and driving the growth of added-value products and services.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience working in a sales or customer account management role
  • Experience identifying and developing new sales opportunities
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to open, negotiate and close sales
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Full and valid driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience within a manufacturing, technical or product-led sales environment
  • Experience selling added-value products or services
  • Experience using customer databases or CRM systems
  • Experience preparing sales proposals, presentations and quotations

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generate, qualify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, referrals and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Identify customer needs and present suitable products and services, including preparing proposals, quotations and presentations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to negotiation and completion.
  • Maintain accurate customer, sales and quotation records, including monitoring pipeline activity and reporting performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Research market trends, competitor activity and product developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Support promotional activities, sales events, direct marketing and product training where required.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the business by promoting added-value products and services across the company.
