BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT – EDINBURGH

An established and growing business travel company based in the Edinburgh area is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business travel professional to work with a portfolio of corporate clients, arranging worldwide travel while delivering an exceptional level of customer service. The role is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, and offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2–3 days working from home. The salary is £27,000–£30,000 depending on experience.

Working as part of a mixed business travel team, you will be responsible for booking flights, hotels and car hire using Galileo, providing visa advice and ensuring all travel arrangements are made in line with each client's travel policy. You will be expected to identify the most cost-effective travel options available, as well as handle changes, amendments and ticket reissues efficiently and accurately.

We’re looking for someone with previous Business Travel Consultant experience, along with strong knowledge of Galileo, Amadeus or another GDS. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will be dealing directly with corporate clients and playing an important role in ensuring their travel arrangements run smoothly.
