Your responsibilities as Red Meat & Poultry Butcher
  • Bone, trim and prepare red meat and poultry to exact customer specifications
  • Portion steaks, chops and other cuts to precise weight requirements
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and clean-as-you-go procedures throughout production
  • Maintain product traceability, batch coding and correct temperature-controlled storage
  • Complete customer orders accurately while minimising waste and working efficiently
  • Comply with PPE requirements and all health and safety procedures
 
What we're looking for in a Red Meat & Poultry Butcher
  • Proven butchery, boning, trimming and portion control ability
  • Ability to successfully complete a block test
  • Willingness to work with both Halal and Non-Halal products
  • Good understanding of written English to accurately follow customer specifications and orders
  • Industry-recognised butchery qualification is advantageous
 
Working hours: Sunday to Friday, 20:00–05:00.
