Every cut matters when customers expect consistency, quality and precision. As a Red Meat & Poultry Butcher, you'll play a vital role in preparing premium products to exact specifications while helping maintain the high standards that keep production moving efficiently.

Your responsibilities as Red Meat & Poultry Butcher
  • Bone, trim and prepare beef, pork, lamb and poultry to customer specifications
  • Portion steaks, chops and other cuts accurately to required weights
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene standards and clean-as-you-go working practices
  • Ensure batch coding, traceability and correct storage within chilled environments
  • Pick and fulfil customer orders accurately while minimising waste
  • Follow PPE requirements and safe working procedures at all times
 
What we're looking for in a Red Meat & Poultry Butcher
  • Previous butchery, boning, trimming and portion control experience
  • Ability to successfully complete a practical block test
  • Experience working with both Halal and Non-Halal products
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English to follow specifications and orders
  • Right to work in the UK and an industry-recognised qualification is advantageous
 
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday (Saturday is job and finish)
5:00am – 2:00pm
