If you're an experienced Buyer with a commercial mindset and a passion for developing product ranges, this could be the perfect role.
Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established consumer goods business to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll take ownership of established branded product ranges, work closely with suppliers across the UK and Europe, and play a key role in bringing new products to market.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing branded product ranges from selection through to launch.
- Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Analysing market trends, competitor activity and forecasting demand.
- Monitoring product performance, sales and stock levels.
- Building strong supplier relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Supporting product launches, sales teams and stakeholder presentations.
- Attending UK and European trade shows and supplier meetings.
- Previous Buying or Procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Commercial awareness with excellent analytical ability.
- Experience managing product ranges and forecasting.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
- £37,853 salary
