CAD Engineer

We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join an automotive manufacturer in Sutton Coldfield on a 6-month contract basis. You will support site move projects by creating, updating and maintaining site and machinery layouts using AutoCAD.


Outside IR35
6 month contract
Rate dependent on experience
Site based in Minworth


Job Description
  • Create, update and maintain factory, machinery and site layout drawings using AutoCAD
  • Produce accurate CAD layouts for manufacturing cells, machinery installations and electrical systems
  • Support factory relocation and site move projects, ensuring all drawings are revised, version controlled and kept up to date


Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Well versed carrying out a similar CAD role
  • Experience with factory relocation/production layout design 
  • Competent using AutoCAD
