A leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, are looking to recruit an established CAFM Asset Data specialist who can lead Asset Data Assurance across their flagship Government account. They are looking to work to the ISO 55,001 standard.
This is a national contract with the employer delivering a major Hard FM operation across a high volume of M&E assets, to ensure we are have a strong Asset Management strategy in place, we have a significant Asset Management Data team in place which this role will work within.
Reporting into the Head of Asset Management on the Account and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders this is a pivotal role in the ' Asset Data strategy on one of the industries' largest contracts.
In short, this role ensures the integrity, traceability, and assurance of asset information across systems, enabling reliable operational performance, proactive risk mitigation, and data-driven lifecycle decision-making aligned to ISO 55001 and enterprise governance standards
Actions will include:
- Governance & Assurance Leadership, co-ordinate and support asset data governance, technical, and operational forums, ensuring effective control, compliance, and audit-ready decision-making
- Develop and maintain CAFM data governance frameworks, ensuring all data changes are controlled, approved, version managed, and fully auditable in line with organisational standards and audit requirements
- Embed governance controls across CAFM/EAM platforms, including change control, approval workflows, and data ownership accountability to ensure consistent and compliant data management practices
- Assure API integrations and system interfaces, ensuring data exchanges between CAFM/EAM and interfacing systems are validated, controlled, and monitored for integrity, accuracy, and completeness
- Oversee data flow validation and error handling processes, ensuring robust exception management, resolution protocols, and audit traceability across all system integrations
- Define and manage data dependencies and system relationships, ensuring alignment across asset hierarchies, classification structures (e.g. Uniclass), PPM regimes (e.g. SFG20), and interfacing systems
- Ensure end-to-end data consistency across systems, proactively identifying and mitigating risks of downstream conflicts or misalignment impacting operational delivery or compliance
- Lead reconciliation processes across CAFM/EAM and interfacing platforms, embedding routine validation checks, exception reporting, and systematic resolution of data discrepancies
- Drive root cause analysis of data inconsistencies and integration failures, ensuring issues are tracked, categorised, and resolved with preventative actions implemented to avoid recurrence
We need from you:
- Strong technical skills within CAFM Asset Data Management and robust Assurance/Governance mindset
- Any exposure to ISO 55,001 would be useful
- Developed stakeholder engagement approach
