Campus Manager – SEND College
Doncaster, South Yorkshire | £44,329–£48,613 per annum | Permanent, Full-Time
Lead a brand-new specialist college campus and help shape its future.
Think FE is recruiting an experienced Campus Manager to lead a newly opening SEND college campus in Doncaster.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a new provision, building a strong team, developing an engaging curriculum and creating a supportive learning environment for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the campus, lead curriculum development and ensure high standards of teaching, learning and learner support.
The Role
As Campus Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading, supporting and developing a team of tutors and education staff.
- Planning and implementing the campus curriculum strategy.
- Managing the opening and ongoing development of the new campus.
- Recruiting, inducting and mentoring teaching staff.
- Preparing for Ofsted inspections and maintaining high standards of education and compliance.
- Driving continuous improvement across teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
- Ensuring provision meets the needs of learners with SEND.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the campus.
- Delivering teaching for up to two days per week within your specialist subject area.
Essential:
- Level 5 teaching qualification (or recognised equivalent).
- Previous management or leadership experience within an educational setting.
- A Level 3 qualification in Construction.
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning, quality assurance and improving teaching standards.
- Ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining a learner-focused approach.
- Previous leadership experience within further education or SEND provision.
- A recognised SEND qualification or substantial experience supporting learners with additional needs.
- Teaching experience in construction, creative arts, digital media, hair and beauty, sport, health or fitness.
- Experience of Ofsted preparation, staff recruitment and developing new educational provision.

You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on teaching, helping to create a positive environment where learners and staff can thrive.
