Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Basic | £40,000 - £50,000 OTE + Company Car + Benefits

OVERVIEW

An established automotive retailer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join its successful sales team in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to build a long-term career in automotive sales, working with a strong product range and a busy, high-quality enquiry stream. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey while delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inbound and outbound sales enquiries across showroom, telephone and digital channels.

• Qualify customer needs and recommend suitable new and used vehicle options.

• Conduct vehicle presentations and arrange test drives.

• Guide customers through the full sales process from enquiry to handover.

• Maximise finance, insurance and value-added product opportunities in line with compliance standards.

• Build strong long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using dealership systems.

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals.

• Follow up all leads promptly to maximise conversion rates.

• Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within automotive retail.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Target-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed objectives.

• Professional, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Sales Executive.

• Franchised dealership experience.

• Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.

• Proven track record of achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets.
