We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership in Cardiff, for an experienced Car Sales Executive to join their busy team. This is a compelling opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in dealership new and used car sales, ideally focusing on VAG brands.

  • Basic salary of £25,000 per annum
  • Uncapped on-target earnings exceeding £60,000 annually based on sales performance

  • Work hours from 8:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a scheduled day off mid-week and alternate weekends off
  • Saturday hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties Of The Car Sales Executive
  • Sell new and used cars, accessories, finance products, and warranties to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Keep customers informed of progress and inform them of any delays
  • Address customer queries promptly and effectively
  • Collect payments and ensure smooth handover of vehicles
  • Explain warranty and service arrangements, introducing customers to the Service Department
  • Demonstrate vehicle features and provide comprehensive customer support
  • Build and maintain outstanding customer relationships
  • Maintain knowledge of current dealer promotions and manufacturer products
  • Work proactively to seek and convert sales opportunities
Requirements Of The Car Sales Executive:
  • Proven recent or current main dealership experience in new and used car sales
  • Strong customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm for sales and customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Brand-focus, particularly with VAG brands preferred
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff
