Care Assistant – Westward H0!

About the role

We are looking for a caring, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our residential care home in Westward H0!

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live happy, comfortable and fulfilling lives. You’ll provide high-quality personal care and practical support while treating every resident with dignity, kindness and respect.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a supportive team where your contribution really matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
• Helping with meals, drinks and activities
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Promoting residents’ independence, dignity and choice
• Supporting residents to enjoy social activities and community life
• Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements

About you

• Kind, patient and genuinely passionate about caring for others
• Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team
• Respectful of residents’ individual needs and choices
• A good communicator with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working in a busy residential care environment

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
