Carpenter in Chippenham, Wiltshire

EA Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a busy commercial construction project.

The role will primarily involve carpentry snagging and finishing works, ensuring completed areas are finished to a high standard and ready for handover.

Duties

• Completing carpentry snagging works across the project.

• Adjusting and easing doors to ensure they open, close and latch correctly.

• Adjusting and finishing units, cupboards and fitted joinery.

• Rectifying minor defects and finishing issues.

• Carrying out general second-fix carpentry and remedial works.

• Working from snagging lists and completing tasks to a high standard.

• Liaising with site management and other trades as required.

• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally on commercial construction projects.

• Strong second-fix and finishing skills.

• Good eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship.

• Experience with snagging, doors, units and general remedial carpentry.

• Valid CSCS card

• Own tools and PPE.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
