Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Carpenters for a site near Reading. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools.

Duties

• Construct, install timber framing and composite boarding.
• Perform joinery tasks to create strong connections between wooden components.
• Fabricate custom pieces based on project specifications.
• Operate hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and drills with precision.
• Utilise power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including joinery and fabrication.
• Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy materials.
