Looking for a Catering Assistant role with immediate work, weekly pay and consistent hours? Join a busy staff restaurant and canteen in Alnwick, working 37.5 hours per week on an ongoing basis.

This is a varied Catering Assistant position combining front of house and kitchen duties within a busy staff restaurant and canteen. You'll be part of a professional catering team, helping to prepare and set up buffet service, serve customers and support with general kitchen duties including washing up.

Key Responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, you will:

  • Help set up and prepare buffet areas within the staff restaurant
  • Serve customers during busy meal periods
  • Support with washing up and general kitchen duties
  • Keep the staff restaurant, canteen and kitchen areas clean and organised
  • Work as part of an established catering team
  • Work 5 days out of 7, including weekends, with flexibility when required
  • Work either 06:00-14:00 or 11:30-20:00 shifts

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in catering, hospitality or a customer-facing environment
  • Is comfortable working across both front of house and kitchen duties
  • Is reliable, flexible and happy to work weekends when required
  • Can commit to 37.5 hours per week on an ongoing basis
  • Is available to start ASAP
