Key Responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, you'll provide flexible support across the catering operation, including:

  • Cleaning and sanitising kitchen, service and dining areas
  • Assisting with food and drink service
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Taking payments using cash and cashless systems
  • Operating tills and maintaining accurate sales records
  • Supporting kitchen duties and assisting with washing up
  • Replenishing stock and storing deliveries
  • Completing essential hygiene records and administration

What we're looking for

To be successful in this Catering Assistant role, you'll need:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate - essential
  • Previous catering or hospitality experience
  • A strong understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness
  • A friendly, professional approach to customer service
  • The ability to work reliably every Saturday and Sunday
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
