Blue Arrow is currently recruiting School Catering Assistants to work in a variety of schools across the Abingdon area.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch services.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Washing up and cleaning kitchen and dining areas.
  • Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous catering, kitchen, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Due to the rural locations of some of our client schools, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate is required, or you must be willing to undergo a DBS check before starting work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
