This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Working within a busy Security Operations Centre, you will play a key role in monitoring security systems and supporting sites across the business.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, responding to security incidents and alarms, maintaining accurate records and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Security Operations Centre.
This position operates on a 4-on, 4-off night shift rota, working 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and identify potential security threats or incidents
- Respond to alarms, alerts and monitoring systems in line with procedures
- Investigate, manage and escalate incidents when required
- Liaise with sites, management teams and external agencies
- Provide clear communication and updates to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate incident logs and complete associated reports
- Support the daily administration of the Security Operations Centre
- Assist with the development of processes and procedures
- Handle confidential information in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required
About You
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
- Experience handling confidential information professionally
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota
