Chargehand/Supervisor - Civils

Location: Bodmin (PL31)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: £37,175 – £42,656 + vehicle
Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term
  
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and supervise a small team (up to 6 operatives)
  2. Deliver high-quality civils work (kerbing, drainage, hand-laid tarmac)
  3. Plan and coordinate plant, materials, and daily site activities
  4. Conduct briefings and maintain accurate records
  5. Ensure compliance with RAMS and safe working practices
  6. Read and interpret utility drawings and plans
  
Essential:
  1. CSCS Card, NRSWA Operative
  2. Full UK Driving License (LGV desirable)
  3. Ability to securely park a 3.5t vehicle
  
Desirable:
  1. SSSTS
  2. Small plant operation (dumper, mini excavator, roller)
