Head Chef – Cairndow - Loch Fyne - Live in a possibility for the right person

Working Pattern: 5 day week
Location: Cairndow Argyll

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to take full control of the kitchen at a small rural hotel based on the shores of Loch Fyne.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently excellent food and a smooth, professional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking full control and responsibility for the kitchen
• Leading and managing the kitchen team
• Creating and delivering high-quality dishes
• Maintaining consistently high food standards and presentation
• Managing food ordering and stock levels
• Controlling food costs and minimising waste
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
• Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively
• Developing and maintaining a strong, consistent food offering

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced chef with a strong background 
• Passionate about quality food and excellent presentation
• Confident in managing a kitchen and leading a team
• Organised and knowledgeable about ordering and stock control
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
• Reliable, professional and hands-on
• Creative and enthusiastic about developing a quality food offering
