Role :-Chemical Process Operator
Location:-Buckley, North Wales
Salary:- £34,320 per annum during probationary period, rising to £39,963 per annum following successful completion of probation.
Shifts:- 5-week continental shift rota, working 12-hour days and nights (7-7), averaging 14 shifts per month

The rota provides excellent work-life balance, including:
• A full week off every fifth week.
• An average of seven 10-day breaks each year (Holidays inclusive of the breaks)
• Flexibility to swap shifts with colleagues, making it easier to plan longer holidays.

A leading chemical manufacturing business is looking to recruit two Process Operators to join its growing operations team. If you are an operator with a background in chemical or hazardous process manufacturing and are looking for long-term career progression, this could be an excellent opportunity. The Role
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a chemical processing plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.
• Operating and monitoring plant equipment to achieve production targets.
• Adjusting process conditions to optimise plant performance.
• Maintaining accurate production and operational records.
• Producing and packaging finished products to customer specifications.
• Conducting routine plant inspections and responding to operational alarms.
• Working within environmental permit requirements and operating procedures.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures, including Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures and Permit to Work systems.
• Supporting the prevention of major accident hazards through safe working practices.

About You
• Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or process manufacturing environment in a similar role.
• Experience working with hazardous materials in a regulated industrial setting.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• The ability to wear breathing apparatus and air-fed hoods when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numeracy skills.
• A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence would be advantageous but is not essential,
