We are recruiting for a Child Contact Centre Coordinator to lead a well-established service supporting children and families across South Shields and the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of a busy Child Contact Centre
- Lead, supervise, and support sessional contact staff
- Ensure safe, high-quality supervised and supported contact sessions
- Work directly with children and families experiencing complex circumstances
- Manage safeguarding and risk in line with best practice
- Maintain strong relationships with families and partner agencies
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Social Care, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in family support, social care, or children’s services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Experience working with families in conflict or challenging situations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Higher qualification (e.g. Cert HE or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
Working Hours
- Full-time – 35 hours per week
- Alternate weekends (9am–6pm)
- Flexible midweek working
Salary & Benefits
- £29,000 – £34,000 (DOE)
