Childcare Practitioner - Level 3

Due to the continued expansion of our friendly nursery in Retford, we are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our supportive team!

About the Role

You Will:

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in-line with the EYFS, including playtime, arts and crafts and educational games
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Maintain a clean and organised childcare environment
• Prepare and serve snacks, suitable for all intolerances and allergies
• Assist with nappy changes and potty training as needed
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress, communicating effectively with parents and raising any concerns as appropriate
• Work as part of a motivated and friendly team
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including maintaining proper hygiene practices

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A good understanding of the EYFS statutory framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, caring and professional approach
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to learn)
