We are currently recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join a well-established children’s home in High Wycombe. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
About the Role
As part of a dedicated team, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Support daily routines, education, and recreational activities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
Senior Support Workers will also:
- Support the management team in the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead shifts and mentor junior staff
- Contribute to care planning and risk assessments
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (residential experience desirable)
- A passion for making a positive impact
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
- For Senior roles: previous leadership or supervisory experience
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Relevant qualifications (or willingness to work towards them)
