Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Location: Chalfont Saint Peter, Buckinghamshire, South East England

Salary: £31,493 to £34,495 ( Inclusive of sleep-ins)

Employment Type: Full-time, 39 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team at a new children’s home in Chalfont Saint Peter. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

As a Residential Support Worker based in Chalfont Saint Peter, your daily duties will include:

• Providing therapeutic care and emotional support tailored to each child's individual needs
• Acting as a positive role model to promote independence and life skills
• Organising and participating in fun activities such as theme parks, fishing, football, and hiking
• Building trusting relationships and empowering children to make decisions about their lives
• Supporting children through challenging situations and helping them reach their full potential

To be successful as a Residential Support Worker, you will need:

• A caring, flexible, and resilient nature with excellent communication skills
• Experience in a caring or support role is desirable but not essential
• A full UK Driving Licence is required
• Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins
