We are currently recruiting an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Young Adult Services (Leaving Care Team) at the London Borough of Haringey.

The Role

You will work with care leavers, supporting them as they transition into adulthood while ensuring they receive the guidance and services needed to achieve positive long-term outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing high-quality Pathway Plans.

• Undertaking Child and Family Assessments.

• Updating case summaries and maintaining accurate chronologies.

• Completing Personal Education Plans (PEPs).

• Building positive relationships with young people and partner agencies.

• Delivering person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.

During your first two weeks, you will be office-based to complete your induction and mandatory training. Following this, you'll enjoy a flexible hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

• Previous experience within a Leaving Care or Young Adult Services team.

• Strong assessment, planning, and case recording skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
