Children’s Support Worker – Waking Nights
Location: Southport
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
Hours: Waking Nights
We are currently recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker to join a residential children’s home in Southport.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in a safe, caring and stable home environment. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the young people throughout the night, ensuring their wellbeing and safety while maintaining a calm and welcoming environment.
Your duties will include:

Supporting children and young people with their individual needs

Providing reassurance and emotional support when required

Carrying out regular checks and maintaining the safety of the home

Responding appropriately to any incidents or concerns during the night

Completing daily records, reports and handovers

Working closely with the wider staff team to provide consistent care
We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Previous experience working with children and young people is preferred, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and wants to build a rewarding career within children’s residential care.
