Chiller Engineer (Foot Mobile)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join our client, a growing specialist HVAC business delivering maintenance and engineering services to a portfolio of blue-chip commercial clients.

Established for over six years, our client has built a strong reputation within the industry through technical expertise, customer service and providing practical, cost-effective solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit their first directly employed engineer to support an expanding workload.

This role offers a rare opportunity to join a business at an early stage and become a key part of its future growth. Unlike many mobile engineering positions, the majority of sites are located within a concentrated area, making this a predominantly foot mobile role with significantly less time spent driving between locations.

You will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repair works across a range of commercial chiller systems. The position is largely focused on chillers, with occasional requirements to work on VRF systems, split systems and associated HVAC equipment.

This is a hands-on role requiring a technically strong engineer who can work independently, manage their own workload and provide a high level of service to commercial clients.

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial chiller plant

• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response

• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of chiller systems

• Servicing screw and centrifugal chillers

• Carrying out remedial and repair works

• Supporting minor installation projects when required

• Occasional work on VRF and split systems

• Producing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Liaising directly with clients and site representatives

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Proven experience working on commercial chiller systems

• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background

• Experience working on screw and centrifugal chillers

• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently

• Experience with VRF systems

• Experience with split systems

• Chiller installation experience

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Self-motivated and capable of managing your own workload

• Up to £55,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
