Engineers – Major UK Infrastructure Projects

UK-wide | £40,000–£55,000 plus package

SEDR Recruitment specialises in recruiting engineering and construction professionals across civil engineering, bulk earthworks, infrastructure, groundworks, remediation and energy construction.

We are recruiting for major projects including Sizewell C, Lower Thames Crossing and HS2, alongside renewable energy and other civil engineering projects nationwide.

Relevant experience

• Bulk earthworks: Excavation, cut-and-fill, embankments, soil stabilisation, haul roads and earthmoving plant.

• Civil engineering: Highways, rail, drainage, utilities, enabling works and major infrastructure.

• Reinforced concrete and groundworks: Foundations, concrete bases, slabs, retaining structures, ducting and underground services.

• Land remediation: Brownfield redevelopment, contaminated soil and groundwater treatment, environmental monitoring and site remediation.

• Energy construction: Civil works for battery storage (BESS), nuclear, renewable energy and other energy projects.

Salary and benefits

Salaries range from £40,000–£55,000 per year, depending on the role and experience, plus package. Packages vary and may include a company vehicle, travel and lodge allowances.

Requirements

Candidates must be willing to travel and lodge away from home, as projects are located nationwide.

You must have the existing right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
