Civil Litigation Solicitor in London, Greater London

My client, a highly regarded specialist legal practice advising on complex and high-value tax, financial and commercial matters, is seeking a hand's on civil and commercial litigation solicitor with 2-5 years PQE.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the law, complex legal research and detailed case preparation.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2–5 years' PQE in civil/commercial litigation or dispute resolution.

• Strong academics and excellent written communication.

• Personally drafted statements of case, witness statements and interim applications.

• Experience researching complex legal issues and handling substantial documentary or financial evidence.

• Direct client contact and experience managing their own matters or caseload.

• Comfortable working autonomously with appropriate supervision.

• Happy to undertake detailed research, drafting and file preparation personally.

Required Experience:

• Particularly attractive backgrounds include:

• Shareholder, partnership and directors' duties disputes.

• Contract and warranty claims.

• Professional negligence.

• Fraud and cross-border disputes.

• High Court litigation, Companies List, TCC or appeals.

Desirable:

• Experience of High Court litigation, particularly the Companies List or TCC.

• Exposure to shareholder, partnership, directors' duties, fraud or professional negligence disputes.

• Experience of e-disclosure platforms and electronic court filing systems.

• An interest in private client or international litigation work.
