Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering project in Bridgwater. You will play a key role in delivering the works, carrying out setting out duties, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the successful delivery of the project.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Strong setting out and surveying experience

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Experience completing QA documentation and site records

• Competent using surveying equipment and engineering software

• Relevant CSCS qualification (SMSTS/SSSTS advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out setting out and surveying duties

• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation

• Liaise with the Site Agent, Project Manager, and subcontractors

• Monitor quality, progress, and compliance with health and safety standards

• Assist with planning and resolving on-site engineering issues
