We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Lead to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Espoo / Kirkkonummi, Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors, delivering some of the continent's largest and most technically advanced mission-critical projects. You will take responsibility for leading all Civil and CSA activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all Civil and CSA work packages from project commencement through to completion.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
• Coordinate project schedules with Project Managers, Planners, Design Consultants, and subcontractors.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure all works meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Drive Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all civil activities.
• Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, manpower levels, and programme delivery.
• Monitor project progress and produce regular reports for senior management.
• Support commercial activities, including cost tracking, forecasting, and management of project variations.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and attend project, engineering, planning, and client meetings.
• Review drawings, setting-out information, technical documentation, and as-built records.
• Coordinate and manage all snagging and project close-out activities.
• Work closely with the Quantity Surveying team to ensure all commercial changes are captured and documented.
• Ensure successful handover of Civil and CSA works to the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience within Civil or CSA construction on large-scale projects.
• Previous experience in a Civils Lead, CSA Lead, or Senior Civil Engineering role.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project planning, and programme management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Excellent knowledge of QA/QC procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
