The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a flagship residential scheme on behalf of Guernsey Housing Association.

The project will see the construction of 60+ high-quality homes, across two six-storey apartment buildings. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of this prestigious development from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Works Manager to work in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Your main duties:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
• Manage site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers, maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, site procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, address any issues, and report to senior management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project status.
• Manage the budget for site operations, minimizing costs while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment to ensure timely availability for site activities
