Class 1 Driver

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, ongoing work with weekly shift patterns and plenty of hours available.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday or 4-on/4-off
• Various start times available
• Drivers must be flexible within a 2-hour start time window
• Afternoon starts offer the most regular work
• Weekly schedules provided

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday to Friday - £19.00 per hour
• Saturday - £20.00 per hour
• Sunday - £21.00 per hour

The Role

• Class 1 curtain-sided deliveries
• Delivering to supermarket distribution centres
• Collections and return loads
• Predominantly general haulage
• Typically completing multiple deliveries before returning to site
• Some deliveries where use of a PPT may be required

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable with curtain-sided trailer work
• Able to operate a PPT when required

Assessments

Before your first shift, you'll complete a paid driving assessment with the client's driving trainer
