Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Burton upon Trent for ongoing, full-time general haulage work.

This is a long-term Class 1 Driver role offering consistent hours, a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, and reliable weekly earnings. As a Class 1 Driver, you will complete general haulage deliveries to commercial customers, working within a professional and well-organised transport operation.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for stable work, regular shifts, and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities – Class 1 Driver

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled general haulage routes

• Complete deliveries and collections to commercial customer sites

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately

• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely

• Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations

• Communicate effectively with the transport office

Requirements – Class 1 Driver

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred

• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

• Able to pass a driving assessment if required
