Class 1 Driver in Slough

Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client’s busy transport operation.

We are looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work. Both weekday and weekend opportunities are available, including day and night shifts, making this a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible and regular work.

• Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles

• Completing local and regional deliveries

• Delivering goods safely and efficiently

• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts

• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed within the required timeframes

• Providing professional customer service

• Following all road safety, transport and company procedures

• Some manual handling may be required

• £16.00–£18.00 per hour

• Day shifts available

• Weekend work available

• Weekend day and night shifts

• Ongoing work available

• Flexible opportunities depending on availability

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred

• Good knowledge of UK roads

• Reliable and professional approach to work

• Good communication and customer service skills

• No more than the permitted licence points, subject to insurance requirements

• Competitive pay of £16.00–£18.00 per hour
